So I have to put five stars and write a review to get hard level ,so that’s what I’m doing, this app was ok, I don’t like the levels and all I just want to play this app regularly. You know just playing it the basic way without levels and stuff. And I can’t believe you have to Rate five stars and write a review just to get to hard level! I mean it’s not that much to do to get to hard level, but what if you’re secure? And don’t like writing reviews? Well that’s all I have to say, if you read all that, I just want you to know have a good day!

I’ve been playing Othello since it came out for my Nintendo in the 1980s, and have since tried various apps and computer games, each with their own flare. This game simply is not programmed well: the difficulty scaling is way off, making the so-called “easy mode” tuned more toward experienced players than the novice. Where it is expected that difficulty should steadily progress, the AI becomes downright brutal on levels two and three - and that is still on “easy” mode.
That this company requires a 5 star rating to unlock a game mode is just inappropriate. Don’t waste your time with this one. Get a different app for this game.

“Easy level” is anything but easy. The difficulty on just level one was a bit shocking, and it ramps up even more after, and that was the easy setting. It also requires a five star rating to unlock the hard levels, which seems very underhanded. There are better versions out there, I would suggest to keep looking.
