  • -1 screen never turns off

    By okiug67 (Pcmac user)

I use this daily and especially before bed since it really knocks me out after a 16 minute session. Huge problem the screen stays on all night. Please add a function to use with screen off. During my day out I have it in my pocket with screen on and gets hot while on AirPods. All in all this app is a life changer for me. All the stress melts right off. No more canker sores. No more achy neck and back pains. All the chatter in my mind is silenced. Best app ever!!
  • A Very Good Ad-Supported App

    By PhoneGui (Pcmac user)

This is very close to what I’m looking for an a breathing app. The interface is not quite as intuitive as I’d like, but I was able to navigate it after a few ministers of pressing menu items. I’d like to see a few tweaks I think would make the app more useful. •Adding a .25s delay after pressing Start and after each bell or interval change signal would make me feel less rushed to sync with the different intervals. As it is I feel I’m “chasing” the ball and not in sync with it. This would also help with latency when using my HomePod for the audio. •Adding a double chine of the bell (which sounds quite nice btw) to signal the end of a breathing session would tell me of session’s end when breathing through my eyelids. •Adding multiple notifications would allow me to set 3 or 4 sessions throughout the day to settle my breathing and mind. I’ve looked at several other apps and none come as close to meeting my preferences as this one. 99¢ to removed ads is a great value, and thankfully, they don’t appear during the breathing sessions. All in all, this is a very clean app, elegant in it’s simplicity. I’m happy to have found it.
  • Loud ads

    By ishnite (Pcmac user)

I was looking for an app where I could make a custom intervals and this one was the first to show up. Creating a custom interval using sliders isn’t the best, it can be hard to pin point the exact second you want, especially with such a wide slider. Can people actually breathe in for an entire 60 seconds?? Does the slider need to go that far? A number drop down/scroll would be much better for this. The main reason for my one star though is that after I was done with my breathing, with the setting to be just vibration for interval change, an incredibly loud shooting game app ad popped up. Why??? Why of all ads would you put such a loud and startling one in a breathing app???
  • My Most Important App

    By ScreamGeronimo (Pcmac user)

After watching Alan Watkin’s Ted Talk on how impactful it is to breathe rhythmically (equal time spent exhaling and inhaling), I looked for an app to time my breaths. This one is the second app I stumbled upon and my search has come to a happy ending. Love this. Simple, customizable, and oozing in value. I hope to use this at least once every day. Wondering if the developers would consider allowing the app to run in the background while the phone is locked. Would love to keep it running while I’m at my desk at work. Either way, great app.
