This radio service is fantastic. Its a great way to hear the all the different subgenres of metal from the greats to obscure artists as well across the globe. The hosts are all fantastic people that clearly put the time into this passion and deliver great songs with interesting commentary as well. With the only advertisements being for in-house projects such as the Gimmie Brigade, you can really sit back and enjoy the music without being bombarded by random advertisements. Coupled with the extensive collection of merchandise and albums on the store page, which seems to grow bigger every day, Gimmie Radio is the one stop shop for any metalhead out there

This app is really amazing. I love all the different Dj’s on here. Literally zero ads. Just metal. All day. Early rock n roll to some super brutal stuff and everything in between. Only things I’d ask for is 2 things. 1: an Apple Music integration where when you like something on gimmie, it adds it your Apple Music account of thats even possible. 2: when I’m playing music and my phone is locked, when I tap the screen to check the time or if I get a notification via text or another app, the music cuts out a few times and the quality of the music lessens noticeably and it takes a while for it to get back to normal. Other than essentially the 2 part of this review, this app is killer. Iv discovered a lot of really cool bands through this platform.

I was so lucky to have stumbled upon this station. They play nothing but the type of metal that I love, new and old. It’s a great source to keep in tab of what’s new and even rediscover old bands that I never thought or forgot to check out. The station even has a store to buy the albums and shirts to help out the bands. Now that’s metal. If anyone loves metal instead needs to check out this station. They won’t regret it. Not one bit. 🤘

This is hands down the greatest thing to happen to Metal in the age of the internet. All the music is personally curated by awesome Metal musicians, journalists, and Metal tastemakers like Dave Mustaine (Megadeth), Johan Hegg (Amon Amarth), Randy Blythe (Lamb of God). So much better than any other streaming service’s algorithm or “editor curated” playlist. If you love Metal you have to give it try. You won’t regret it.
