Pleasantly surprising

I love this whimsical little game. I am cautious and biased against puzzle games like this because I always expect them to be money grabbers/pay to play. This game has that aspect, but I haven’t run into any levels that are so hard that you HAVE to pay to beat it. I haven’t had to pay once. It just takes time and patience to beat difficult levels. The art is stunning. Cats. They find a way to bring *you* into it. It’s just a really cute, really fun game. I have put more time into this already than I have some $30/40 console games. I love it. If you want to listen to your music when you play: Start the game - let the intro play - turn off game music and sounds - close app - turn on your music and then go back to the game to play!

And I’ve played a LOT of them. What can I say about this game. I played up to around level 80 in the space of 2 nights because the story was so interesting and the puzzles were so easily completable. Now I’m in the early 100’s on levels and still usually find them fair, even if I do have to add moves/restart/use items occasionally. So far I’ve played this game completely FTP and I feel a bit bad about that, because it’s a wonderful game that doesn’t artificially heighten it’s difficulty to get $$$ from players for items to beat the level. (Side-eyes the ill-fated Sailor Moon Drops and Fishdom) I wish there were exclusive costumes/characters that I could buy as in app purchases to show the devs some support!!!

This game is SOOOOOO CUTE! I’ve always wanted to try something like the -scapes games but the art bothered me, while the art in this is SO charming! I watch the entire stop motion intro every time I open the game! It’s also not too money-grabbey. Like most alignment games, IAPs mostly give you extra turns and attempts if you need them. You won’t need to pay if you really focus on your moves. Since I found out about this from Cocone’s other game, Pokecolo, the fact that it’s only in Japanese doesn’t bother me. The puzzles are intuitive enough and the art and character reactions get the story across well enough. In fact, it looks like if I understood what the text said, the story would make me cry. Please play this game so they translate it and make me cry.

I absolutely love this game! It’s super fun and I love the concept and the art is beautiful! A lot of matching games like this started without having any kind of goal, it’s nice to see the increase of mission based matching games. I haven’t lost interest yet and it stays fun! I also really enjoy that the game isn’t dependent on in app purchases, I’ve been waiting to see if that happens in this game and I’ve been very pleased it hasn’t! I don’t mind spending money on games I love to help the developers out, but it gets annoying when it feels like I HAVE to to be able to play and complete gameplay, thankfully in this game I don’t feel like that! I can’t wait to see more from this game!
