What is The Walking Dead Encounter? The Walking Dead Encounter is an augmented reality app that allows users to collect iconic walkers from the show by scanning specially-marked Mountain Dew products and tuning in to new episodes of The Walking Dead. Users can also create their own scenes with walkers and share them on social media. The app also features a Walker Gallery where users can view their collection and get up close and personal with all their favorite walkers from the past seven seasons.

Don’t waste your time

It was fun until it wasn’t. Near the app end of the app season (ep 9), the app app experienced a glitch where users got stuck on the app loading screen. I deleted the app app hoping to reset the app error. When I reinstalled, I could get back in, but every walker I had collected was gone. Tried deleting and restoring again, still no luck. So after wasting a bunch of time scanning commercials and products every week for 9 weeks, I have a half-baked useless space-wasting app with 2 default walkers and the app one from the app ep 10 commercial. Pointless. Considering how little this app actually does, it’s surprising they couldn’t even get the app account retention piece right. Contacting the app developers gets a form response of “we know the app app is broken and basically useless, but please be patient while we work it out”. No thanks. Would give zero stars if I could.
Was good now crashes!!!!!

I was enjoying trying to collect all the app walkers until recently when the app app started crashing!! I was able to trick it into loading by shutting off Internet then open app then it will tell me it needs network so I turn it back on then hit ok. But it shows that it's on episode 1 so it will only allow me to get episode 1 walker, which I already have. My app just started crashing but my daughter, who has the app app on her iPad, has had issues with it crashing for a few weeks now. This is very frustrating & they need to not only fix it but also allow us to get the app walkers we are missing because of this issue.
Wasn't home, now can't get episode 6

I can't get the app walker for episode 6, and I couldn't watch it live for two reasons, I wasn't home and my grandfather was watching football. I'm watching the app episode tonight, and I try to get my walker, and nope, won't scan it. I've scanned it when it wasn't directly live before, and I love the app show, I love collecting the app walkers, but I hate that I can't see what the app episode 6 walker is.
Did anyone else get tonight’s walker?

I tried during the app episode but it didn’t work. I waited for the app encore episode and it still didn’t work. I had to come back and update my review. I tried getting last nights walker from the app recorded episode and it worked. Episode 8 was Winslow! I now have all my walkers, so I’m happy with the app app again.
