If you want to install and use the BetterMe: Weight Loss Workouts app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use this app for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type BetterMe: Weight Loss Workouts in the search bar and press Search. Click on BetterMe: Weight Loss Workouts application icon. A window of BetterMe: Weight Loss Workouts on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use this app for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

Download on Andriod, Iphone
Free On iTunes
Download Android

Thank you for reading this tutorial. Have a nice day!

  • I didn’t buy it but...

There is NOTHING you can do here without getting the free trial or just paying for a subscription up front. You can’t even explore the paid features without at least putting in info for the “free trial” and I’m not doing the “free trial, must quit after that to avoid being charged” thing for ANY app without it telling me more first. The picture at the top of the sign up screen when you open the app has fine print that reads “Results not typical. Disclaimer.” And appears to be a link except it doesn’t open any disclaimer for you to read; is the entire disclaimer that the pictures results are “not typical”? Dumb. There is also no indication of how customizable the program is; i can’t do squats or lunges due to joint problems and no way to explore and see if plans are available that take disability or limited range of motion into account. Without those options a workout app isn’t worth a dime imo. At the very start you are asked to pick your “problem areas” but only gives you like 5 options, INCLUDING face and “saggy breasts” (is this for men too?!). There’s no way to say you’d like to target your core or your glutes or build a stronger back (which would be my goal due to disc issues). My guess is there are no good options for these issues, which is why they don’t offer more in the way of user choices to target areas.
  • Only 28 days?

    By Mas4sam
I really loved this app when I did the free trial, so I bought the lifetime subscription. But it now seems that once I’ve completed 28 days’ worth of exercises, there’s nothing left to do in the app. Will you be adding workouts beyond the 28 days? I certainly hope so. If not, I recommend those who love the app purchase only a one-month subscription rather than waste money on a lifetime one, since you only get a month’s worth of workouts anyway. Three stars instead of five as a result of this issue. Tempted to move it to two. Update: the developer’s response was misleading and entirely inadequate. They responded to my complaint about only having 28 workouts by noting that there are 7 different programs. These are in fact only the “arms”, “legs”, “abs” etc. sections, each one containing only 4-5 moves and lasting roughly 5 minutes. You have to combine all 7 to get an actual, full workout, and there are only 28 total. Once you have completed the 28, there are no additional workouts. If you’re serious about getting in shape, don’t get this app. You will only get in shape for 28 days. After that, you’re on your own. As a result of their response, I am lowering my rating to one star. Should they expand to additional sets of workouts, I’ll be happy to increase my rating. As it is, extremely disappointed in my purchase.
  • Fix the Diet Portion

    By Gillie45
The workouts are awesome and I like that the app shows you how to do the workout as you are doing it. I also like how it tells you how many calories you burned at the end of each workout. The workouts are targeted towards specific problem areas so you can tailor your workouts to your needs. However, the diet part of this app needs a lot of help. There is no way to put food preferences in to avoid seeing those recipes (ex I don’t like quinoa or beef liver). Also, not all the recipes match. The directions will be for something other than the recipe or ingredient list. The ingredient list doesn’t always tell you how much of something you are including in that recipe (ex 1 piece cottage cheese - what does that mean?). Calorie counts per meal are not included. I would expect this from a free app but not one for $10 a month. I’m on my free trial right now and I’m not sure I want to pay for this unless it was fixed. I see other people leaving similar reviews back in December and it’s now June. Please developers: fix the app! It’s a great start so tweak the diet part to match the thoughtfulness of the exercise part! :)
  • Needs more instructions

    By Ky3863
I’m enjoying the app so far but there have been a few exercises that didn’t make sense just based on the graphic. An option to select more information before starting the day’s exercises would be nice. Also, being able to actually track the meals eaten rather than just a menu to look at. I love that it has the recipe provided for the meals, being able to build a favorites list of recipes would be awesome! After reading other reviews, I checked out the billing and it does seem pricey for what is offered ($10/mo). Mine had the 6-month automatic $42 subscription selected already, so that would have been a crappy surprise. That does lower the price by $3/mo though, so I can see the benefit and will likely leave it that way. An earlier warning about the price would be good though, I’ve seen other apps put the subscription prices in the app description, so people don’t feel deceived when their account is automatically charged. The app itself is beautiful and I like the target areas. Some of the meal choices are a little different haha, you guys must really enjoy livers! 😁

Question..does the app use macros to determine food and calories???
  • Super Impressed

As someone who struggles to figure out what to eat or forgets to eat because I’m avoiding to get anxious and figure out what to eat, and cooking is as challenging as science and chemistry to me, (literally). I find this app marvelous for the wonderful and creative breakfast/snack/lunch/dinner recipes and suggestions they have for your thorough daily intake. Especially if you want to get that six-pack! I swear it’s life-changing for people like me who struggle daily with this. It’s motivating me to BE and eat healthier every day and I’m grateful for for people who want to help other people better themselves. Thank you
  • This app is not good

  • Terrible

    By Lexi Bouck
I liked the app at first and wanted to try the 7 day FREE trial and it charged me $41.99 before the 7 days. I wanted to give it a go because I really liked it and was just going to cancel it before the 7 days was up and don’t have the money at the moment. I was struggling with money but now I really am..

  • Confusing

The app is confusing every time I signed on I had to re fill in all my info I never selected an option then was charged for a subscription. Yes the fine print after reading through a few areas and finding where I could cancel my “subscription” that I didn’t even realize I signed up for I was already charged. I’m sure it’s a great app but I’m disappointed in the set up and being charged for nothing.
  • Getting charged..

I just got this app and I’m already loving it! This app it so customizable and it’s really doing well for me. I was especially struggling with getting inspired to eat right and be active so I tried this app and it’s really worked. I work out and eat right as a habit now! I look so fit and this is just awesome.
