  • Finally usable again

    By daniel.mcq (Pcmac user)

The app is finally usable again in iOS 13. I can now properly check the lock settings and now have access to the PINs saved on it and can label them and view their usage history. I was also able to update the firmware are on my lock. Not giving it five stars because the post-firmware usage is a bit clunky for a minute or two. I couldn’t read settings until I waited about two minutes and the app didn’t tell me anything about a wait time after the update. It eventually worked, though. Also, the UI could be better. It’s the same as it’s been for at least a year, and it’s definitely not the worst interface, but it could be a bit more user friendly.
  • WORKAROUND

    By SteveCanadaP (Pcmac user)

It is not ideal, but while we wait for the app to get their act together, you can simply add the word “the app” to the name of your lock in HomeKit and it will reappear in the the app app. For example: I named the room “Front Door” and I re-named the lock “the app Lock.” Functionality wise, this hasn’t changed a thing for me. I can still tell Siri to lock or unlock the “front door” and it knows what I mean because of the name of the room. But still, get your stuff together, the app!!! It’s insane that we need to figure this out with no help from you.
  • Lost HomeKit

    By carltonnoble (Pcmac user)

I’ve tried everything. I got them to sync at first but then they updated and stopped working. Removed them from the HomeKit app and now the app can’t find them and I have no way of connecting them back to HomeKit. I updated to the newest app and still nothing shows when the lock is put into WiFi mode. Gonna try calling support but this app and device is definitely broken.
  • Bug fix update does not fix pairing problem

    By Mark_Berry (Pcmac user)

App still has zero functionality after deleting my entire home and they release this vague update stating bug fixes but fixes for what? App is still useless and will not connect to lock.
