I have heard about the 當代中文課程 books for some time and was delighted to learn that they are becoming available in this format. I have been fluent in spoken Chinese for years, having lived and taught in Taiwan for over a decade back in the 80’s, but still need to work on the grammar as well as ‘updating’ my vocabulary. Bought the hard copy set of level 4 (as well as level 1 for my son who is just starting to learn the language) on a recent trip to Taipei, and am hoping all 6 levels of this series will be available soon in electronic form. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
Great Chinese Learning App

I own the first textbook of this series and had to leave it in Taiwan when I came back to the states. I can’t tell you how happy I am to have found this app and how amazing it is at teaching traditional, Taiwanese based Mandarin! Only problem is that I purchased the first book on my iPhone, logged into my iPad, and can’t download the book I bought. Is this a glitch or are my book purchases not shared across my apple devices?

I really like the app. Helps me learn characters by following the readings and using the stroke order function. Really like the listening exercises.
Great features but expensive and a little messy

Some great features, the readings sounded natural, useful to have vocab and grammar you can click on, and I especially liked the tone practice. On the downside, I wish there was a direct translation of the dialogue that was easily accessible or directly in the text. Seems weird that there isn’t. Also, lessons are super short and there are only 5 lessons in a bundle and several bundles. Seems like robbery to split things so much and price each so high.
