How can’t I NOT kill a stingray or eel?

Seriously guys, how can I not kill a stingray or an eel? That makes no sense, especially the stingray, I can see an electric eel being able to kill a the app, but not a stingray. I have all of my upgrades fully done, so really? How can I not kill those? It makes me have to delete the game because they don’t only come in one place, they are EVERYWHERE, I’ve died twice because of them and I hate it.
