What is Driver Trip Log?
The Driver Trip Log app is designed for 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) company drivers to keep track of their assigned trips. The app allows drivers to view trip details, carry out pre-trip checks, record various events of the journey, record consignment details, record Proof of Delivery, and record trip expenses. The app also has geo-tracking enabled, but continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life.
1. Driver Trip Log app is meant to be used by 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) company drivers to record progress of their assigned trips.
2. o Carry out pre-trip checks to ascertain if all the prerequisites for a trip, such as driver fitness for trip, consignment safety checks etc.
3. o Record Proof of Delivery by taking the receiver’s signature on the mobile device using Sign-On Glass.
4. CONTINUED USE OF GPS RUNNING IN THE BACKGROUND CAN DRAMATICALLY DECREASE BATTERY LIFE.
5. NOTE: GEO TRACKING ENABLED.

- View details of assigned trips
- Carry out pre-trip checks to ensure all prerequisites for a trip are in place
- Record various events of the journey such as arrivals or departures, handover or takeover of consignments
- Record various details of the consignment received or delivered, such as the consignment type, quantity, and whether it was damaged
- Record details of the leased pallet(s) used for transporting the consignment, if any
- Record Proof of Delivery by taking the receiver’s signature on the mobile device using Sign-On Glass
- Allow the receiver to record feedback on the quality of service by assigning a certain number of stars on the app
- Record trip expenses.
