Possible to play without VIP, but difficult

The simulated battles do not figure tactical choices whatsoever, and merely slightly randomise the strength of strikes, accuracy, crit, etc and it is Rare that even a slightly pitched battle is won by the underdog. The game is populated by players with powers in the thousands, millions, and billions. It is almost only by virtue of the ability of a player to be accepted into an Alliance that one can grow in power, survive attacks, and gain ground. Earning sucessively higher VIP status earns more benefits and is possible without spending, but it is almost interminably slow. Be prepared to spend a few bucks at first, then a bit more. The best servers have NAP's- Non Agression Protocols in which they alternately have peace and mayhem on a weekly cycle. Ugh, I cant stay away from this game. You can have both a quick login character and a registered character, and also log into different servers. The arguments and discussions in the various chats are fun, and it will optionally translate comments from players with different languages into yours.
Used to be great. Not anymore.

The developers have become unresponsive to users reporting issues. Locked out of your account? Crickets. Need assistance with something? Crickets. This morning, I made an in-app purchase. I was billed, but did not receive what I purchased (a monthly pass and bonus gems). It’s been 6 hours since I emailed the developers with no reply. You might think I’m not giving them enough time. Well how about this... my alliance leader had the exact same thing happen over a month ago. He’s emailed them numerous times. Still no response. A friend who plays for another alliance had the same thing happen. No response. Another one of my alliance mates lost 15,000 gems. Thy just disappeared one day. He emailed the developers. No response. This used to be a great game. But now, well, it seems like bald-faced theft. At this point, all I can say is buyer beware. If the developers are going to take your money but provide no support, you should stay away from this game.
This game gives me heartburn

I found the ad, yes it’s illegal due to false advertising, but I was stupid enough to download it anyways. The people that made the game do not understand that “this app” is not a title, sentence, or phrase that makes sense in the English language. After 5 minutes of playing this game I realized that it was a waste of time. I looked away from the screen on my phone after playing and saw that my heart was on fire and that I now had high blood pressure. I am in the hospital right now because of this app. To quote Michael Scott, “I hate all the things that [this game] choose[s] to be.” Also, the game looks like it was drawn in crayon. It is brutal. The Neanderthals that claim the game is about “tactics and defense” will never learn how to spell that phrase without the assistance of their parents. I hope they put the game down and play chicken with flaming arrows. I hope they reenact this game in real life. This is a brutal review and it might sound a little personal but at this point I’m fine with that.
Ads are fake😾

I saw an ad and I said to myself "a first person game from the revolutionary the app that's gotta be good". So I got the game it was good animation in all but I was confused by the layout. So I continued but the further I got the more annoyed I got. I was thinking "well the ad didn't look like this". So once I got to the first battle I was done. The ad showed a first person game and it looked like you had to kill all the British or complete different missions. And it was first person. Now what made me mad was the game was another one of those stupid games were you have to build your base and battle. I would be okay if the battle was first person but it was the same as a lot of other games. You make a group of soldiers and you battle in a third person view. This game is the same as a lot of other games and should have something unique about it. But it didn't so it didn't take me very long to delete it. Don't waste your time on a game that lies.
