What is RootTrip? RootTrip is a matching app that connects travelers with local guides from all over the world. It provides a platform for tourists to communicate with people living in the areas they're visiting, find a local guide, and use their free time in more meaningful ways. For local residents, RootTrip provides a platform for becoming a guide and showing people around in the area where they live, putting day-to-day free time to practical use. The app offers various features such as Facebook authentication, sample course, chatting, start and finish code, and review.

- Sample course: Guides can make a sample course, which helps both guides and guests to have an image of the plan.
- Chatting: Matching which lets users have a chat is the first step. Users can see the other's characters by chatting, and refuge after chatting is no problem.
- Start and finish code: To reduce the fear of meeting a stranger in an unfamiliar place, the system provides start and finish codes only to the guest side. A guide side needs to put these two codes, so the system receives notice of times when the guide starts and completes.

- For Rooter (Guides): Users can appeal their local charm to travelers and foreigners, use their daily spare time meaningfully, and earn some pocket money.
