  • Love it but..

    By Lessiy3 (Pcmac user)

I’m a mom of a bilateral implanted 10 year old. She’s in love with her implants and would recommend to anyone, she’s been wearing her cochlear since she was two and on August she had her second one implanted and that’s when she switch to her N7 processors. This app for a mom it really comes in handy to be able to control her processors better, as a kid I can say that she loves to listen music on my phone she says is more clear, when she talks on the phone with her dad is makes us really happy that she’s able to understand better and so do we, just because we can pair the N7 to my iPhone. The app really helps connect the mini mic, for her to listen to music, listen to movies as well, it’s really nice, but my only but is that this app is only good for an iPhone and I would love for it to be available to down load on an iPad that she does have because at 10 years old she’s not allow to have an iPhone yet. So please make an iPad app as well!!
  • Wonderful, but.. (Urgent)

    By Southwestforpresident (Pcmac user)

Hello! I just upgraded to my N7 a few days ago, and began using the app. Both the device and the app work absolutely fine, but there’s one issue. I don’t know if this is due to the newest update or if any other devices are experiencing these issues, but it takes away the experience from having an N7 in the first place. that “experience” is the volume control setting. When I first got my implant and started streaming music, I noticed that it would auto adjust the audio to something more quiet. I wanted to be able to control these settings, and I found out that I could do so by clicking my “Volume” tab where I can adjust the volume, and then clicking that little “more” button to get to the volume control settings. Only thing is that this “more” button is nowhere to be seen. I know other devices have it, and it even has it in the demo mode of the app, but it is totally missing for me. Please, urgently fix this fast!
  • Great to lose a remote! But has flaws.

By Steve W. Jackson (Pcmac user)

I had thought I’d go with Kanso when my next upgrades were available till the N7 came out with “Made for iPhone”! I’m bilateral and get all my care and equipment through VA as a totally disabled Veteran, and when my backup N5s were due to become obsolete, and then one of them failed, my move to N7s came early! Having carried a remote on my person for several years, having this app was expected to be a blast since I’m a longtime iPhone owner. And I have to say it’s been a really great benefit since getting new gear at the end of August. But there are some irritating things I’d like to see improved. First among these is keeping the processor settings between power-off and power-on as has been true with every processor I’ve had from the beginning of my CI journey in 2004. It’s beyond annoying to change batteries and then find a sensitivity setting reset! Worse, the settings aren’t even always set back to defaults! Second, I’ve been using my TV Streamer extensively and finding that I don’t always get reconnected if I get out of range and then return within the required time. I never had that trouble with my N6s and the very same streamer. Overall, despite some hiccups, I couldn’t be happier to be able to ditch the remote control. I’m enjoying the added freedom this app offers me, and I am even getting more confident at making phone calls.
  • Unreliable

    By Rookiemash (Pcmac user)

My son got his N7s last week. I was hoping that this app would be useful. It's opposite. It's unreliable. Sometimes it gets connected to N7s sometimes not. Sometimes it only connect one of them when both R and L are open and working. It changes the program settings frequently. I select a program and when I check later on R and L setup to different program. It should not stream the phone rings, audio and phone calls to the N7s since I adjust the settings in general settings section. But it streams all of them into the N7s. I check general settings. Then the streams come back to the iPhone but then it goes to the N7s back and forth. Very inconsistent and unreliable. Not sure if this is happening because of N7 malfunctioning or because of this app. Probably I'll remove it and use the remote control instead. All of this is happening while my son is in the range of Bluetooth.
