Game freezes when you load into the game

Interesting concept for the game and the music is very calming but I barely played a few seconds of the game before the screen turned to black and froze - possibly cause it was loading a cross-promotional ad which froze the game? Even when I tried closing this ad, the screen would remain as black but music would keep playing in the background. I played this on an iPhone6 so I would say it is unlikely a hardware issue.
