  • TL;DR Great for iPhone, not so much for iPad Pro

    By Roarinku (Pcmac user)

I’ve had this app for about 10 months on my iPhone and have used it A LOT while DMing a campaign with my friends. I love the variety of sounds and the ability of use my own music is nice too, I haven’t upgraded to pro yet (will explain why below) but love the set of features listed. I just wish there was better iPad Pro support. I just recently got a 10.5” iPad Pro and thought this would be a great chance to upgrade to pro. That way I could use the app Fantasy as the slide over app, allowing me to quickly change the ambiance and then hide the app so I can use other DM apps in landscape split view. Unfortunately, I discovered this app only supports portrait mode. No landscape, no split view, no slide over. Because of this, I don’t think I’ll upgrade to pro. Even with how great this was on iPhone, I don’t want to use more than one device behind my DM screen–just a matter of personal preference. I know programming takes time and money, and iPad Pro users are probably a small/almost nonexistent user base. Thus, these features are not priority. If landscape/split view/slide over features were added this app would be PERFECT for all use cases, and purchasing pro version would be definitely recommended.
  • Great App

By The Rake's Biggest Fan (Pcmac user)

This app is wonderful for what it is. It doesn’t restrict you with the in-app purchase, as it just removes ads (which I’ve yet to be bothered by) and allows the sounds to play while using other apps. The sounds included are also very well done. My SOLE complaint with the app is that there should be a custom events list that you can save combinations to for quick, prepared use. Three slots is simply not enough room for the custom sounds. However, this app is more than worth downloading and using.
  • ALMOST everything I could want

By Sean & Daddy (Pcmac user)

I love that this app can play ambience, music and sound effects at the same time. Exactly what I need! However, I have many, many more sound effects and music files I use, so I added them to the app - only to find out you can’t move them out of the custom folder! Meaning I can’t add new ambience, music or battle/magic/etc sound effects. All my imported sounds stay in the custom folder - meaning they’re all jumbled together and cut each other off. This app is so close to being useful to me! Please let me move my sounds from the custom category to the other categories!
  • Just one more thing

By Dragonson the Crusader (Pcmac user)

I am very satisfied with this app and use it in most D&D sessions. I use the free version so I don’t get all the features I’d like but know they are available, I would get the full version if it was easier to add “custom” soundtrack. My DMing style requires soundtrack from various existing sources but I don’t want to go through the trouble of downloading music from my laptop every time I add a new song or sound effect. Basically what I am asking for is a way to import songs directly from the music app on my iphone to this app without another step in between. Other then that 👍👍
