  • Slow/Non-user friendly

    By AmandaRoo20 (Pcmac user)

I’ve used this app for the past two times I’ve gone to Roo and it was really easy to use and the layout of it was visually easy. THIS iteration of it is so so so so bad. It’s slow - if you click on something, it literally takes multiple seconds for it to register. And the visual schedule part makes it really hard to actually plan out your day bc it makes some of the start/end times look different (ex. I thought one act I wanted to see looked like it was almost completely at the same time as another act but actually there’s 45 minutes where they don’t overlap). It’s just not useful at all to keep track of who you want to see. If you have the schedule go by days, it doesn’t keep scrolling to the next day once you get to midnight, you have to actually click the next day and go from there. It’s just awful - as if they made it and didn’t have anyone actually use it to see if it was user-friendly. Very disappointed- but looking forward to actually getting a paper schedule when I get to the farm.
  • I like it but it’s little buggy

    By Carol Openhym (Pcmac user)

Sometimes when i add a band to my schedule, it does not add it to the “My Schedule” section. Sometimes it does. Also, sometimes bands i have added to my schedule would “go away.” That’s frustrating. Also, it would be helpful if the “My Lineup” selections would update the Most Schedule. It’s easier sometimes to find a band alphabetically, so when I star a band in the Lineup section, the. I have to find them in the schedule section which is not always easy. I agree with the other reviewer who said he misses the old feature that lists your schedule by stage. That was very handy. Things I like include the notifications and the ability to set alarms. Notifications are super helpful during rain delays and I appreciated the regular updates on Sunday mornings. A suggestion on alarms - they were not available for all of the bands and they should be.
  • Festival apps are terrible

By probably taken nickname (Pcmac user)

Please make the app more user friendly. The main reason people download it is to create and share their schedule. Not only is the scrolling a nightmare (because you are constantly tapping people’s names), but it’s difficult to compare who’s performing head-to-head. I’d love to help develop this app better for future festivals as well. Might want to consider one app for all the festivals to entice users to keep them on their phone for longer than a weekend. Side note: I tried signing up 3 times and the app crashed. This doesn’t allow you access to my info, and it doesn’t allow me access to save my schedule. Another festival and I’m having to create my schedule on excel.
  • Disappointed

    By Wolfman's Bros (Pcmac user)

Sadly, it’s a disappointing app. You can’t even create your own personal schedule, or if so, there’s no user friendly way to discern how to do so! Also, it doesn’t seem to even recognize who you are and that you’re logged in, as it constantly tells me to not forget to register my band (even though I did so weeks ago!). Definitely should have the developers use it while developing it so they can see some of these basic flaws and fix them! Also, the latest update has now made the app crash when trying to open, rendering it useless. That being said, looking forward to the actual festival!
