Notifications open to nothing

What's the point of having notifications if I can't open the notification and read it. You open notifications and it just opens the app and there is no information anywhere on what the notification was about.

Many stories that say “This story will be updated” are never updated. There are frequent typos and grammatical errors. “Breaking News” is many times days if not weeks old. Other than that it’s an okay app.
