Legacy - The Lost Pyramid is a 3D puzzle game that takes you on an adventure to find a missing friend in an ancient pyramid. As an archaeologist, you encounter riddles and puzzles that need to be solved to progress through the pyramid and hopefully find your friend. The game has been remade with better graphics, performance, and new ways to interact with objects and the environment.

I have to say, this app brought be back to the 90s when Cyan, Inc and Brøderbund put out Myst. There is adventure, mystery, puzzles, and even an endearing (if not slightly obnoxious/repetitive) soundtrack. I’ve been glued to this game since coming across it and I look forward to finally finishing it soon. However, one Big con: on iPhone, the wheel for the red crystal and lens puzzle is incredibly hard to rotate. I spent 5-10 minutes messing around trying to figure out what I accidentally did to get it to move. Then I figured out that stroking the spot on my phone in a very very narrow space got it to work. This wasn’t enjoyable as it wasn’t so much a puzzle to figure out (maybe a meta puzzle...), but I don’t know how hard it is to fix an issue like that (anything from making the area to touch larger to changing from a wheel to some other mechanic. The elevator buttons work well.)

Sheesh! I have some issues with aspects of this game but I've now played the second and that is much better. I generally thought the puzzles were okay but navigation is not--clunky and weird. Hard to find the right spots to make yourself move and the "passing through walls" aspect was hard to get used to. There is also no way to "look around." You can basically only see what is in your field of vision when you reach the spot you're taken to after clicking to go forward or back. Graphics also pretty low-grade considering the age of the game. The game is also pretty short. However, a huge step up in this app 2, which I recommend.
Gem focus wheel bug

Pretty decent game. Couldn’t get either gem to move. One of them said I was missing something even though I had everything. Wandered for an hour before giving up and watching walkthrough. Didn’t look like I missed anything. Went back and tried again. After tapping wheel dozens of times, I saw it move ever-so-slightly. Tapped a few dozen more times and finally got it to move. The hit area on these needs to be fixed.

This is a wonderful game and I'm so glad I discovered it! The puzzles are challenging but always fair, the graphics are good and the music is moody.... the combination makes for an enjoyable and immersive experience, and it's plenty long. It kept me busy for days playing in my spare time. I had no glitches on my iPad mini 4. Once I thought it had frozen up on one of the crystal/lens devices but I backed up then and it worked. Thanks developers! I'm off now to look for your other games!
