I'm not having any of the problems others are reporting (running El Capitan). I've done a dozen photos and tried evey one of the filters. Besides having to wait for the image to covert (or the new filters to download), it's worked without a flaw. Just in the few days I've owned it they have added a half a dozed new filters, which is great. Each photo is different and the filters/effects more-or-less act differently on each photo. But at least three or four filters do a great job and produce somthing remarkable however for the photo. I guess it really matters how much it's worth to you, but I couldn't be happier.
Great Effects - No HD

I love the effects but they are not High Definition effects even when saved on the "HD" save function. When I load a high definition image and then use one of the effects and save on HD, the new image is extremely pixilated. They need to raise the definition of their effects.

It’s unfortunate that some folks have had bad experiences with this app. I just downloaded it and it does exactly what it says it does. From what I can see this is the entire set of effects available on the Fotor this app web site (search for it) I’m running it without a problem on a MacBook Pro with High Sierra macOS. It’s fast and straightforward to use. Bit on the pricey side, but I’ll definitely find uses for it. Nice one!

I played with the online version for a little while and thought it might be a fun buy on $2 Tuesday. However, the app won’t work at all on my El Capitan system. I can load a photo, but as soon as I click on any filter, the app crashes. Every. Single Time.
