Does not work
By Levi_thomas (Pcmac user)
I tried using this app on my iPhone on two different nights. Both were at night because I was trying to test the street lamps in the parking lot on my college campus. The first night I tried to use this app, I had to put my phone on airplane mode because so many advertisements were showing up that it was draining my phone battery. After I managed to stop the advertisements from showing up, I quickly realized that this app doesn’t actually work very well. I got zeros for almost every spot that I measured around the perimeter and inside of the lot, even when I was directly under a light. Because of this, I placed a white piece of paper on the ground so that the light could reflect off it, and still I got only zeros. At first, I thought maybe the street lights were just bad; however, even after taking my phone indoors and trying it, I was still getting very few numbers other than zero. Overall, the advertisements are too much and the app itself doesn’t even work.

Would not recommend
By ajsmith_16 (Pcmac user)
I was recently involved in a group project which required light readings to be taken in two parking lots on my college campus. While attempting to take data using this app, ad popups proved to be disruptive in the collection process. Additionally, this app is not very sensitive when taking readings. The vast majority of collected values were zero the app, some even when directly underneath or next to light sources. Data was taken on two separate occasions, and the aforementioned issues came up repeatedly for both of these times. For these reasons, I would not recommend this app.

Works fine for me. No frills but it served my needs. I can't complain.

Doesn't work at all
By Ryanxj9000 (Pcmac user)
For less than a nanosecond you can see the the app reading numbers do something and then it just stays at zero.
