  • Pros- Cons

Good thing I like is that I enjoy the first few play through until I found too many things unbalanced. Like attacks, one round enemies do very little and your character does a lot, next round your attacks does barely anything and the same enemies does a lot, weird. Leveling up doesn’t raise your stats, got to find strength potions to permanently lvl your strength for a sword man or intelligent potions for a mage and so on. Guess my character can basically be lvl 1 and have 100 strength if there are enough strength potions found... lol. Many many bad things like: randomized items don’t match. Example: find weapon and armor that needs 13 strength but not potions to raise your character strength to 13. Other times you find 3 strength potions but no weapons or armor whatsoever in any floor. Starvation comes too fast and not enough food was generated, why? Cause random dungeons always gives junks instead of food, always die of starvation first before being kill by enemies. It’s a challenging game but too many flaws.
  • A Hidden Gem in the Depths of the App Store

    By Zermonth (Pcmac user)

This game is awesome if you like turn-based roguelikes that are very hard. It’s like nethack, but less complicated, and with better graphics. It’s amazing that it’s free. My only complaint is that some of the audio ambience loops need fixed; the loops are not seamless, and sometimes they “pop” or fade in again after abruptly stopping. Another small complaint is that the weapon sounds are much louder than everything else. I would like to see these things fixed, but it’s not bad enough to lower my opinion of the game. Give it a try, you can’t go wrong since it’s free.
  • Online-only single player game?

    By whatnicknameinhellainttaken?! (Pcmac user)

It’s a good looking single player game, which begs the question: why the HECK do I need to use my data to play it?! I mean, really?! You don’t work for Blizzard, do you? Please, for the love of anything you want to name, *please* remove this friggin’ dialing in every 5 seconds. My phone can take it, but my connection (and I) can’t! I would love to play your game in peace. This connecting crap is a royal headache, and I paid for this game. There are no ads, this is not a multiplayer game, there is no freaking reason for you to do this to us! In short: two stars for a good game that, for whatever reason, got backstabbed by a boneheaded decision during implementation. Which makes it unplayable unless the PAYING USER has a really good connection. Did I mention the game locks up and crashes if it loses a signal for an instant? If you have an unreliable signal or travel a lot, get another game. And I mean, honestly, if you’re NOT traveling then why are you playing on a phone?
  • Much better than I'd expected

    By Bri2Pay (Pcmac user)

At first it seemed like a throwaway roguelike, then I saw a lot of fun elements that made it feel like nethack, a classic. Then I died...and at that point the upgrade options showed me how much potential this game has. Still not completely decided and I haven't played a lot yet...but since there are so few reviews I wanted to encourage you to at least give it a shot like I am...it might just be better than you expect.
