Install MetaGear - metadata editor app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using MetaGear on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "MetaGear"
- The search will reveal the MetaGear - metadata editor app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once MetaGear is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including MetaGear.
- Now enjoy MetaGear on PC.

still not able to delete all metadata from within photos app. the developer says we can... so how? again, how do I delete all metadata in one edit session when I edit the image from the photos app? a nice howto would be great or simply add the feature that isn't there. is developer confusing the "delete all metadata" when editing photo from within the app with editing from within stock photo app using this app extension? I hope not. they should know the difference.

Keyword changes not what I was hoping

I bought this app mostly to make keyword changes. The good thing is that it does batch keyword changes. But there are two things I wish t did better
1. I wish I could easily swipe between pictures and select from common keywords for each picture. Right now I have to click on about 8 buttons and type in each keyword i want to add.
2. If I had feature number one I wouldn’t necessarily want this feature but I wish I could add a keyword to a batch of photos that have different keywords already. Right now you can only make them ALL the same keyword, you can’t just add a new keyword to all of them.
It functions really well and I will continue to use it for now. Hopefully there is a way to make keywords easier.

Great app

As a working photojournalist I’ve come to depend on this app. Please, please, please keep updating. A couple things would be nice. First, being able to save to folder in Apple’s file app and second, being able to access the IPTC presets when via the this app extension. Thanks.

Great App for a Pro, but needs Files App support

After a year of using this app, I’d love to pay for a Pro version unlock that allows you to handle files outside of the Camera Roll/Photos App. More image apps are using the Files App for storage and file manipulation since iOS 12 & 13z
