What is File Cabinet Pro?

File Cabinet Pro is a file manager for macOS that allows users to quickly navigate to files without cluttering their desktop. It is a document-based application that comes with a built-in text editor, image viewer, pdf viewer, and media player. 3. ∙Save emails as RTF files directly in File Cabinet Pro from the Mail app via the "Save Email Contents in File Cabinet Pro" Service.

4. ∙Save .webarchive files in File Cabinet Pro via the "Save Web Archive in File Cabinet Pro" Service.

5. Select files in File Cabinet Pro, right click, and then simply add or remove file tags from the control in the context menu.

6. You can open many file types natively in File Cabinet Pro or open files by launching other applications.

7. File Cabinet Pro is also a document-based application that ships with a built-in text editor, image viewer, pdf viewer, and media player.

Essentially Finder?

I honestly can’t figure out what makes this any different than using finder folders on your computer. I need a way to cross reference data and tag them for easy search and organization over years of paperwork. I might as well just use folders on my desktop cause this seems to only add an icon to the top of my machine so I can drag and drop files into one big mess of a location? Not worth it in my opinion.
