  • Great Experience

    By marissanunez_ (Pcmac user)

This website allows me to save a lot of money in books for school that I probably will never use again once the semester is over. They also make it very easy for you to return the book once you’re done with it by providing the address label. The book usually comes quicker than the expected delivery date which is also great. Renting books from this website is half price or sometimes even cheaper than buying the books from the school. I totally recommend using them.
  • Very upset with quality of service

    By carolineeee!!!!! (Pcmac user)

I was quoted $26 for a book in good condition other than minimal writing on a few pages, nothing bad, just some annotations for school. They then valued the book at $6. They gave me the option to have the book sent back, but they would make me pay for shipping, $8 which is more than they even valued the book at. Another company valued the book at around the same price, but the return shipping wouldn’t have made it worth it. I should not have to pay for my own item to be returned back to me after they lower the value of the book arbitrarily by 75%. They are very unprofessional, as I tracked my package on their website and they gave me false tracking information. I sent an email to their support team inquiring about the status of the package, but was never responded to. I wish I could give it zero stars.
  • Scam

    By KaitlynnG323 (Pcmac user)

I tried to sell two books to this company and the estimated about $46 dollars. When I sent in my books they told me one of them was considered “counterfeit,” which I know it is not, so they couldn’t give me anything for it but if I wanted the book back would have to pay them for it...not sure how that is right at all. I have tried to contact them at least five times and have not heard back at all. They tell you you have 72 hours to make a decision on your books but when you contact them about a problem they won’t respond in order for you to meet that deadline. Furthermore, the only way to contact them is to write a message on their site, they don’t have a phone number to call. I would really like to speak to someone, but apparently they don’t talk to customers. I guess not contacting you is their way of sneakily stealing your books. They will steal your books and then not communicate with you at all. DO NOT trust this company!!
  • Scammers and Liars

    By BooksRunBlows (Pcmac user)

They will make up bogus claims in order to not pay for some of your books. They tried to claim my books had water damage and the pictures they sent looked like someone had literally just splashed some water on the books before taking the picture. When I called them out on it, then they said that the book “had been rebound” which was an absolute lie. I sent multiple packages at the same time and when they got the next package they claimed one of my books had pages detached but couldn’t provide any pictures to prove it. I emailed them and asked for pictures but they simply wouldn’t respond because they were lying to begin with. This is also why they don’t offer free return shipping via media mail which costs very little. They try to charge you to get your books returned in the hopes that you won’t want to spend the money and they get to keep it and still resell it. If you think a company that makes its money reselling books is going to throw away a $100 textbook over extremely minor damage then you need to think again. When they skim a couple books off the top with their bogus claims, it means free money for them. If you do pay the money to have your book sent back to you, they make money that way as well because the shipping cost is well below what they charge you. They are as unethical as a company can be.
