Older game but really LONG

Most games nowadays have around 20-30 unique scene locations. This one had 54....you know, back when these games used to take several hours to get through? This is one of those games... Before big fish got greedy. Didn’t have any glitches on my iPad.

If not for a terrible teleport map, which only indicated available actions occasionally and objectives everywhere (so you had to run around constantly), this was a game really amazing game. The graphics were magnificent, the only collectibles were paw prints, there was a plethora of tasks at each location, and you could disenchant the denizens and create spells. The HO scenes had an amazing variety and some were more like puzzles. As far as mini-games and puzzles, they were plentiful and there was something for everyone. This game was extremely lengthy and had a very long bonus adventure as well. I didn’t feel that it was dated. I deducted a star for the annoying teleport map and some touch screen sensitivity issues. Happy gaming everyone!
Glitches

Took forever to open and then I couldn’t even type in my player name. Glad I didn’t purchase it before trying it.
Game is STUCK

Not far in, I couldn’t get any further. The first character who needs his heart thawed, and I can’t complete the puzzle that achieves that because of a glitch. Hint doesn’t work either. I have played tons of these kinds of games, and this is the first one I had to give up on.
Works poorly

Some items won’t let me ‘pick them up’ no matter how many time I tap them e.g. the HOG in the cellar has a box with tiles on the lid. When there were two left to find I tapped repeatedly on one laying on top of what looked like a furled sail on a mast and it wouldn’t budge. When I used the hint button it just kept indicating the same tile, but the tile wouldn’t move. I deleted and reinstalled the game and lost all my progress. If it happens again I guess I’ll just give up and be out the money.
