Roleplay Amino for Pc

I’ll start out with everything I love about it. I love the little mood system and check in system, it gives it a little something more. I also enjoy the wiki system. Also, I haven’t run into a single perverted person yet and nearly every person I come across says that they don’t usually include much 18+ content in their role plays. That is always wonderful news. The only complaint I have is that it’s a little hard to figure out how to do things, such as set up a new oc on the wiki system. It was confusing at first, but I quickly got the hang of it. This app is so, so much better than geeking in every way possible and I want to give them props for it. Great app, from what I’ve seen!

My 14 year old daughter wanted this app to practice creative writing. She’s always been very intelligent and responsible with creative apps and online tools. From what we can see, she was quickly recruited into mature, sexual - often kinky - roll plays with adults. She started to show signs of severe anxiety which she told us was school pressure. Her grades plummeted. She began shutting herself in her room constantly to “do homework & listen to music on the phone.” When we suspected & reviewed her social media, we found this disgusting app’s content. She came clean & told us she was addicted & had met someone who convinced her to try bisexual role plays & then asked her to meet in person!! Their role plays got very sexual and profane, which we’ve learned is a form of predatory grooming, and our daughter revealed plans to meet this “girl” soon. All this from a kid who took offense when someone swore in public 2 months before. Even after we trashed the app & locked down her phone, she begged us to let her say goodbye to this role play community. So, so scary for parents & dangerous for families. After therapy & lots of love, our daughter is back to her age-appropriate activities & says it makes her physically sick to think of what she wrote & read on this app. She is happy again...like a huge weight has been lifted. Please don’t let your kids use this app - even with supervision.

I recently had posted something viewed as “off-topic” By the community and it was taken which is kinda unfair. The app isn’t just used as a mean of Roleplaying, people also use it to make friends, and by limiting what the users can post by taking down content that is “off-topic” but not necessarily bad (sexually explicit, triggering etc.) is making it difficult to do so. I absolutely love the app, but some of the rules and guidelines make zero sense and make the community too uniform and heavily regulated, which is understandable considering younger children do use the app. But posting something that isn’t bad or even borderline wrong and having it getting taken down is unfair, considering that there are many users who post explicit content and are not giving any form of punishment such as their posts being taken down.

So good. Altho i would really like it if whenever i changed the format of text in the bios of wiki entries it didn’t scroll all the way down. Sometimes the bios i write are long and it rlly bugs me to have to scroll back up every single time i change the format of one line of text. besides that, the app is almost perfect in every way! and me being someone that is getting out of her shell and doing stuff she has always been afraid of, this made the experience a breezee. the people here only intend to have fun so keep that in mind if you are a blooming rper— it’s all for fun, so don’t be afraid or take it too seriously. it’s honestly great and a dream
