  • Deal breaker

    By wasp604 (Pcmac user)

The app crashes randomly, which is a deal breaker. I'll lose races this way! Otherwise, it's a very well made app. Controls are great, and my jump drone works well. I wish I could access the roadmap macros from the video controller window through, so I could program tricks in, and launch them quickly, instead of having to navigate to another window to launch them. Also, I'd love to have a battery life extending feature, like turning off audio in and/or out, and turning off video. This would save tons of battery both for the drone and my phone! Also, DECLUTTER THE MAIN SCREEN!!!!! I haven't used all caps in such a long time, but having a permanent and useless video on the front of the app... is just insulting. Does Parrot really think I need to learn how to drive the drone still? I've driven it for at least a couple of hours now, and I can steer quite well. I don't need the tutorial videos to pop up every time. I need the drone cam to pop up every time. Or a large blank space telling me the drone is not connected, at least. So that when the app crashes, I don't accidentally start watching a stupid video in the middle of a race.
  • Help, my drone will not work.

    By Commany (Pcmac user)

I got this jumping drone maybe a year ago, I have spent countless hours trying to get it to work and I watched many tutorials, as I follow it exactly it just says to go to WiFi and go to the connection, there is a connection but the connection is not just a simple thing like the tutorial says it should be, it is a lot d numbers and letters almost as if someone had fallen on there keyboard and then after I’m connected the thing starts making weird noises really loud I mean I’m living in a family with other people which makes it even more annoying, after I’ve connected to the WiFi as it said the tutorials I watch say I should be able to start driving now, instead it claims I am not connected to a parrot jumping drone.
  • Lousy non intuitive interface...

    By Crashg1972 (Pcmac user)

After about four hours of arguing with the Robot since Christmas I finally got it to work. The included instructions are a disaster most of their app keeps trying to sell me something else. I’m NOT happy!!! It’s goosey and barely controllable. I can’t see how anybody can race these things if you can’t keep from bouncing off everything. And it’s noisy to boot. I’m not talking about just the high pitched whining of the motors, the thing beeps and chirps relentlessly. The tilt controls solidly defeat the purpose of the front camera. But that’s assuming you can see anything through the cluttered interface. The right sided “joystick” just bounces the unit uselessly off every nearby piece of furniture and the throttle goes from zero to 99 with little useful play as the toy launched itself clumsily into colliding with everything in the room except the direction I wanted it to travel. It was vastly more frustrating than fun. There’s many cool looking toys on their roster. But, the pathetic execution of this will keep me from being a future customer ever again.
  • I LOVE IT SOOO MUCH AHH!

    By Ihaznugget (Pcmac user)

This app is excellent! It was pretty easy getting my jumping night drone Marshall to connect to the app. On google or any search engine ask how to connect if you have issues. The video tells you to connect wi-fi. After that you and your new robot buddy are set for adventure! I fully recommend this toy and this app too! I hope you have found this useful!
