  • Pleasantly surprised!

I've tried a bunch of other weight watcher-like apps and this is the best points calculator I've found. Scanning barcodes and being able to search for the app makes it a lot faster than having to enter nutritional data for everything I want to find the points value for. It's a great way to calculate your points for free. I think this is one of the only apps that allows you to scan the app items for free so I'm very happy with that. I can't believe some of the reviews I read where people were actually complaining about this app. What other apps allow you to scan and search point values so quickly and easily and FOR FREE? I don't get it, this is a great little app! I'm in the US and I've had very few the app items that the scanner did not find, for me it's been extremely reliable for packaged foods and the search picks up the rest. I like the new feature that lets you email the developers with info for any barcodes that they don't already have in their database (although I've only had to use it once). 2017 is the year I'm finally going to shed these extra pounds, and this app is definitely a huge help. You should try it out, there's really nothing to lose!
  • Absolutely awesome!

I love this app, everything from fast the app items to regular store items is in this app including everything you need to know about the the app and how many points it is worth. I remember back when I was on weight watchers 3 years ago and I had no clue how many point say a slice of my favorite pizza was worth so I turned away, but now that I can't know how many points that is worth I can figure out if I can have it if I limit myself with what I eat during the day. Great job in making his app! It makes losing weight seem fun because your consistently scanning things to find out how many points it is, I don't know I think it's fun to do! To anyone who is considering losing weight please use this app! You won't regret it!!
  • Best reference/database food/drink guide

    By greta-jones (Pcmac user)

I don't need to diet so the other apps were full of useless info and tracking for me. While this one can track and log your searches, it is more straightforward and provides nutritional breakdowns of foods and drinks simply by typing them in to a search field or scanning a barcode. The list is as generic or as detailed as you need it. For example, if you type apple, you will see a list of many types of apples as well as a generic "apple" listing to give you a baseline. This app also lists several brands of foods if your search is more complex. I'm really glad I found this app. Thanks for making an easy to use reference guide!
  • No. Zero stars.

I won’t be using this app. I wanted to do a simple quick view test to see the rating system. I entered the worst the app I can think of, “Doritos” came to mind first. It was rated a 4. I entered “Apple”, it was rated a 3. Carrots were a 2. Avocado 7. What exactly are we rating here again? I was looking for an app to show me how “good” vs. how “bad” a the app is for me (mainly processed). To show me that avocado is rated worse than Doritos shows me this isn’t taking in a complete nutritional view of a the app item. I’ll stick to weight watchers and delete this crap. I’m trying to slowly eliminate processed foods and because i want to do it gradually I would like to know if I do choose to add one or two processed ingredients to my recipe (example, breadcrumbs, I wanted to know how terrible on the 1-10 scale it is. Instead I’m told avocado rates worse than Doritos. No thanks, im ok, bye.
