What is Dictation? Dictation - Speech to text is an app that allows users to dictate, record, translate, and transcribe text using speech instead of typing. It supports over 40 dictation and translation languages and can be used with nearly every app that can send text messages. The app also offers audio recording and transcription of recorded audio files, iCloud synchronization, support for impaired users, and easy text sharing. A Pro version is available for users who intend to use the app more often.
1. Never type any text, just dictate and translate using your speech! Nearly every app that can send text messages can be configured to operate with 'Dictation - Speech to text'.
2. Dictation - Speech to text allows to dictate, record, translate and transcribe text instead of typing.
3. Using the audio file transcription you can transcribe recorded audio files - containing speech - into text at a single click.
4. All above Dictation - Speech to text subscriptions renew within 24 hours before the current period ends, and you will be charged through your iTunes account.
5. It uses latest speech to text voice recognition technology and its main purpose is speech to text and translation for text messaging.
6. Dictate uses the builtin speech to text recognition engine.
