Simple and very good

This app worked right away for me. It does help me discern spoken word better. I haven't used it in a restaurant yet but it works watching my TV. It would be wonderful of they would add some kind of graphical EQ and Bluetooth support. A nifty feature would be to add a hearing test which would result in your exact frequency response curve, which could then be applied for a customized experience.
Sound is good. Needs to run in background

This app would be perfect for me if it could run in the background. I'm suffering with (hopefully temporary) hearing loss due to fluid buildup from a middle ear infection. The app helps me hear during group meetings and for watching TV, etc. but it shuts of when screen is slept or when I switch to another app. Please make it run in the background and I'll give you 5 stars.

And it's the same thing. I downloaded it to hear my TV in a low volume because I don't live alone and I'm up later than most people in the house, but it's not too good for that. Also what is up with the "recording" thing? Why would I want to record? And how do I take that off?

I do like this app very much as unless the tv is almost full blast- I don't hear it! But could you please fix it that we could open another app when using- I like to play games when listening.
