  • DO NOT GET!!!!!!!!!!

    By Ruth's Cardagahn (Pcmac user)

I'm an aspiring this app, and needed a new app to help me sort and write my stories and such in a more organized fashion. Out of the apps I saw, this one seemed to be the most well equipped for the job. When I first opened the app, I didn't like how the layout was created- and it, not uncommonly, the photos gave a very clean and professional look. I moved past this small factor though, just happy to have something to write in. After writing chapter three of my my new story, and starting number four, I decided to play around a bit and write some information for my three main characters. Though, to my astonishment, it wouldn't let me start another note, only suggesting I switched to "premium." This automatically translated to "hah, you have to get another app that actually costs money if you actually want to write in something other then notes" I immediately went to he AppStore to see if it even mentioned the limitation of four notes, though saw nothing. And all the reviews seemed pretty good, so what's up? Did everyone else just shrug it off and decide to go "premium?" I have no idea. I'm just a this app whose writing about a bad writing tool in order to help other writers like herself.

I highly recommend this app, as an aspiring this app this has honestly helped me loads. I have ADHD and I tend to get sidetracked easily but the format of the app makes it super easy to stay organized and it’s simple to just jot down a random fleeting idea in the heat of the moment. With this app I’ve been helped out a lot and my stories have been loads more successful and well though out. You’re not even required to write chapters, you can simply just write down basic outlines giving you a foundation to work off of and keeping that random thought in an easily found place. During my time using this I’ve never experienced a single glitch like my things deleting or not showing up, which I have experienced among plenty other apps!!! I honestly do implore anyone who’s looking into writing to use this app!! It’s a straight 10/10 for me!!!
  • I’m a writer with 30 years of experience, this works for me

    By PodcastAfficionado (Pcmac user)

I am very pleased to write a review of something that works. Simple, elegant, and easy to use, this is the best on-the-go word processor ever. I’ve tried Word, IAWriter and many others. This app is flexible. You can use the notes section for all the stuff that goes into your various projects, or for the stuff that blocks your writing. You can outline as many nonfiction pieces as you want, while also working on some major opus or short story. I write both fiction and nonfiction and need to be able to weave things together. This app has replaced a whole slew of other apps (including all my list making apps). I like having all my wordy projects organized in one place. I can send all of these projects via email or text, of course. Easily, the way I send everything else in my life. This is important because I’ve got an older phone and memory is tight. This app is fairly sleek and so far has not eaten up much in the way of stored data. Sure, it could have fancy fonts or whatever. It doesn’t allow you to write with a digitized calligraphy pen. It does what a this app wants it to do, though.
  • Good app needs a few upgrades

    By namire (Pcmac user)

Overall I really like this app. It’s very easy to email my writing to myself and the format is clean and simple and transfers easily. I do wish that it’s stated that you have to pay $2.99 for the app after four notes. Because it was only $2.99 I wasn’t too stressed about the price. After seeing the functions I found it to be a little too simple for paying $2.99 for this app. I know there’s other similar apps I could’ve gotten for free. First, I wish it had a read back function. I also wish that you could write in different colors, highlight, italicize, bold, or strike out. Then I think the app would be worth the $2.99 it costs. The auto save is great! I can immediately stop writing and go to another app and even close the app by accident and not lose what I wrote. I even notice that there is a restore function in the settings which hopefully if I ever lose this app I can restore all my chapters. I also like that has a passcode option for protecting my work. The recording option and inserting the photo option is great too. Overall I have to say it’s an easy to use app and I like the function that it does have and I already paid $2.99 for it so I’ll definitely be using in the future I just wish you had some more upgrades. If you’re interested in it I don’t mind paying $2.99 I would say go ahead and get it is decent for what it is.
