What is SnailGit Lite? SnailGit is a Git client that is implemented as a Finder extension. Software Features and Description

1. If your Git repository is monitored by multiple Finder extensions, please make sure that SnailGit Lite Extension comes first in "System Preferences » Extensions » Finder", you can drag and drop the extensions to adjust the order.

2. A: Please make sure that you've enabled "SnailGit Lite Extension" in "System Preferences » Extensions", and also make sure that you've added the repository to SnailGit Lite Preferences.

3. If the problem persists, please disable "SnailGit Lite Extension" in "System Preferences » Extensions" and then enable it again.

4. Enable "SnailGit Lite Extension" in "System Preferences » Extensions".

5. Navigate to your repository in Finder and right click to access SnailGit Lite functionalities.

6. A: SnailGit Lite supports only one repository, while the full version supports unlimited repositories.

7. Clone a Git repository with SnailGit Lite (File » Git Clone...) or add an existing Git repository to SnailGit Lite.

8. SnailGit is a TortoiseGit-like Git client, implemented as a Finder extension.

9. SnailGit also adds icon overlays to your Git repositories in Finder.

10. SnailGit allows you to access the most frequently used Git features via the Finder context menu (right click).

Exactly what I was looking for

As a primarily windows developer, this is exaclty what I was looking for in terms of Finder integration. I have been used to tortoiseGIT with windows explorer, and was looking for an easy way to commit and push as well as view logs. This tool adds perfect icons to the file system with a familiar and easy to use context menu for performing common git operations.
Can't get past configuration

The initial setup of the program requires that system prefs->extensions enables the app. After enabling it per instructions, the program stops there refusing to acknowlege the setting. I was looking forward to using this but too bad.
