1. Rosary.Today includes prayers: Glory be, Hail Mary, Our Father, I believe in God, Fatima Prayer, Hail Holy Queen.

2. First are the introductory prayers: one Apostles’ Creed (Credo), one Our Father (the Pater Noster or the Lord’s Prayer), three Hail Mary’s (Ave’s), one Glory Be (Gloria Patri).

3. Here the word mystery refers to a truth of the faith, not to something incomprehensible, as in the line, "It’s a mystery to me!" The twenty mysteries are divided into four groups of five: the Joyful, the Sorrowful, the Glorious, the Luminous.

4. You may select how mysteries are introduced: just mystery or followed by comment or selected Bible verses that are read out loud with each decade.

5. Rosary.Today displays current prayer and mystery.

6. When people speak of "saying the rosary" they usually mean saying any set of five (which takes about fifteen minutes).

7. Sorrowful, Glorious, Joyful and Luminous mysteries are automatically selected by day but it is also possible to select one manually.

8. "It is refreshing to find an app that makes you feel like you are saying the Rosary with others.

9. Choose Rosary, Chaplet of the Divine Mercy or Rosary of the Holy Wounds.

10. Each decade is bracketed between an Our Father and a Glory Be, so each decade actually has twelve prayers.

11. It is also possible to offer intentions - choose from predefined public intentions (including Pope Francis intentions) or define your own.

Possibilities!

This could be the best rosary app ever but it's not. I love how you can personalize it. I usually have a long list (on paper) of all my petitions for healing friends who are ill, saving souls, guiding my family, helping me to grow in my faith etc., with this app I can type in a main intention for my rosary and I can type in intentions for each decade also. I love this capability. My intentions scroll across the page next to the text of the Hail Mary or whatever prayer is being recited. One of the main problems though is that whoever is doing the rosary is not "praying" the rosary if they were they wouldn't make so many mistakes. Half of the time the Hail Mary is finished with "now at the hour of death, amen. Instead of "now at the hour of our death, amen". Just one word but it's obvious it's a paid actor reciting the words instead of a Catholic praying the rosary. The rosary also started without the "sign of the cross". The creed is called the "I believe in God" prayer. Technically if you don't touch the screen. Every now and then you can lose the screen and need to log back in. This app has great possibilities, could be the best but needs work.

The app doesn’t play sound on my phone, despite having that option selected. When playing the audio of the prayers, the bar moves, but there is only silence. There is no way to select the mysteries that I know of. It appears to pick them automatically based on the date. That would be a nice feature to manually select them or select automatic. I think instead of having the option for prayer text OR the picture, you should be able to have the picture, then hide/unhide the prayer text by pressing a small icon on the screen.

This app was so fun the best thing about it was it is not to long so you don’t get bored. My grandma has it and she loves it more than ever! I did it and it is so much fun. I am very catholic and this app makes me want to be more catholic. I do it a lot and it is so much fun! Thank you to whoever made this app. I want to do it all day every day. Listening to it is so cool.
Voice Actors

Good rosary app but would like to see some improvements: The voices actors have different cadences. It’s fine to have multiple voices, but not within the same decade. Also, as mentioned by someone else, one voice says: “now and at the hour of death”, omitting the word "OUR”death... Plus, I think it would be helpful to have either a different voice for the 2 parts of the Hail Mary, or, better yet, a choral response with multiple voices. Small things but very distracting. Distracting enough to use a different rosary app.
