Needs tutorial and update.

Looking at the info page for this app, I thought it would be practical, customizable and easy to use. What I found, however, was the same thing I have unfortunately found with far too many this app apps: unlabeled buttons, functions that don’t seem to work, and no tutorials. For those of us who use VoiceOver, labeling buttons—or at least making it quite apparent what they do so we can label them ourselves—is crucial. In this app, we are told that we can add bookmarks, but it doesn’t tell us _how to do it. In Settings, we are told that we can choose a translation; but, only one is showing and selected, and trying to deselect it yields nothing. Even trying to look up a scripture passage quickly is creating problems. If, for example, one wishes to look up Psalm 19, the buttons for the various books are clearly displayed; but, once one finds Psalms, only the first seven chapters appear, and scrolling gestures don’t seem to work for getting to Psalm 19. Imagine trying to get to Psalm _119. If these issues are rectified, I am sure I will be able to give it a higher rating. Also, it appears that this app has been abandoned by its developer, as it hasn’t been updated in at least two years.

I really like this app. I use pocket sword and I am using this this app for basic everyday reading and pocket sword for this app study. I like the app so far and I hope the app is worked on continually and not abandoned like so many this app apps.
