What is HEART Pathway? The HEART Pathway is a clinical decision tool designed for accurate cardiac risk stratification for patients presenting to the emergency department with chest pain. It has been validated by Wake Forest University School of Medicine physicians and has been shown to reduce patient length of stay, cost, and MACE rate. The tool is available for licensing for use in other institutions.
