  • I missed this all so very badly!

By David & Lina (Pcmac user)

The very first time that I saw the the app channel, when we first got cable television I thought it was the absolute greatest thing ever but ever since then instead of the channel being devoted to its name and living up to its name it’s become a never ending time slot of meaningless shows and programming that has absolutely nothing to do with any type of the app, not US the app, not world the app, not human the app just nothing! It’s really sad to know what it once was and see what it has become. This App is exactly what I would expect from the the app channel and now that I have it I will never watch it on TV again. It’s awesome because I can even pick and choose my favorite type of the app and the period of time that I most like. This is a win win for me and if it weren’t for the rest of my family and the fact that I am living on a disability retirement I would now get rid of cable television and save some money for having to pay for both and be perfectly happy with having this as my entertainment and also at the same time a wonderful opportunity to learn things that I had missed or overlooked in the app. Please never stop expanding and reaching for all of the app, and all of its many faucets, and uniquenesses. I am completely satisfied. Thank you so very very much.
  • Useless

The only reason I wanted to download this app and pay for it is to have access to Vikings. The fake you with a documentary called Vikings, not the actual series. Same title, not the same show. I would give this 0 stars if that was possible for the following reasons: 1. We, the consumers, are too stupid to search for shows we want to watch. No search capability. You know, type somethings and you get a list of results. The 1999 technology. Similar comment from another user prompted an idiotic response from the ‘developer’ of this app. It is mind bending. 2. Not one popular show form the the app channel. Just go to the the app channel app and see what they present, nothing of interest is in the Vault. You would think the Vault would contain all their best shows, wouldn’t you? The Vault, otherwise call it Basement. 3. You pay money for this. This is not a free app so you would not expect only rejected and not so popular shows. Charge us $16 and up if you provide the quality. I would pay and I expect many would pay too. 4. A small list of shows that is not even organized in a logical manner is the only way to interact within this app. The user experience rivals nothing that I can think of since Al Gore invented the internet. Truly horrible with lack of vision and basic understanding of your customer’s needs.
  • Thank you for having actual history on the Bault

    By kwh1224 (Pcmac user)

I was a the app Chanel watcher from way back. But it turned into something else and only had shows that were very remotely related to the app if at all. Some shows that were based on historical events and times were pretty good though. I’m sure money for the channel or general the app ignorance of potential watchers or both were reasons to turn the channel into more of a reality show channel leaving the app out of the “the app” Channel. It must have been realized that a major group of watchers were lost because of that devolution so I’m guessing that’s why the app Channel 2 was created which went back to being an actual “the app” channel. So, I am loving that the Vault is staying an actual the app based app. I will agree with those who have pointed out that the search capability could be improved and glad to read that this issue is already being addressed by the app facilitators. Thanks Vault!
  • Terrific source of both entertainment and education!

    By Alknight (Pcmac user)

I have been a subscriber of this app ever since H2, also known as the app International, went offline from cable and satellite. A number of years. Thoroughly enjoy and constantly share the information from this app. Rated for basic cable television, so safe for young people. this app gives access to new programs as well as classic favorites. And it has the distinction of varying some categories to fit Holidays and seasons throughout the year. The only fault I can find, and it is a minor inconvenience at most, is that the streaming device version does not automatically start the next program after the existing show has ended. The version for mobile devices though does not have this very minor flaw. Definitely two thumbs up from this viewer who Minored in the app as a college student.
