  • take your phone out of silent mode

A lot of reviewers were complaining there is no sound, but there is. You have to take your phone out of silent mode (the switch on the side on most iPhone models). Or you can plug in headphones. The videos aren’t 3D (at least the ones I tried) but are 360 degree videos. There is some motion lag on an iPhone 6s, so if you’re using a headset and prone to motion sickness then be careful. There are a good variety of videos. Some cost money, but there are plenty that don’t. Overall good app.
  • Awesome but needs sound

I love this app and all the very videos are great I just wish they had sounds! When I visit the beach I want to hear the waves and birds ect.
  • VR Newbie

I am fairly new to the VR 360 community. And I am having trouble finding good VR 360 apps. This one is not bad. I like watching/viewing actual videos of the world and beyond. I am not too fond of "cartoon versions" of things -- and this app delivers a few little short clips accordingly. Some of the clips are a little shorter than I would like ((e.g., the Hawaiian beach presented is just one 360 view of one beach that lasts a couple of minutes). Some are a little farther away than I would like (Zimbabwe falls). But I'm not looking for a grandiose experience, rather I am looking to see new sites around the world. This app does that fairly well. I think it has potential as it continues the development phase and the designers add more sites and adventures. Some of these require a fee to download. Others are free. Be sure you watch for that. I would prefer to pay a one-time fee for the app, then be able to look at all the experiences provided with maybe occasional small fees for upgrades. But that is just a suggestion. So far, I have only selected and viewed the free clips. (I provide the main reason below.) However, all-in-all I'd say it's worth at least checking out the free videos and getting a taste of what this app can do. Again as the app grows and increases the amount/variety of videos filmed around the world and the length of time and information provided therein (e.g., guided tours), I think this app has some definite promise. For now it's limited. I could see an app like this being a MAJOR educational tool in grade schools at some point if it is developed correctly. (One more note: Clips like the San Francisco segment are not so useful. It is fine to show some of the unique parts of the city, but I expected at a minimum, a view from a cable car with Alcatraz in the distance and the cable car bell ringing, Coit Tower, the curvy road, the Painted Lady houses from the park, maybe a Segway tour or two, and of course, a ride across the Golden Gate Bridge as a good basic overview of SF. That segment was disappointing. But it was free so I just offer that as input. But that kind of clip makes me hesitant to actually purchase -- any clips for fear of wasting money on a disappointing video.)
  • Terrible app!

First, it’s in portrait mode (!) only—seriously, for viewing panos? Then, videos are blurry and most are locked behind a paywall. The first one I viewed was incredibly boring of tourists walking around. Don’t waste your time downloading this!
