Install Broadcastify app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Broadcastify on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Broadcastify"
- The search will reveal the Broadcastify app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Broadcastify is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Broadcastify.
- Now enjoy Broadcastify on PC.

- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Broadcastify,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Broadcastify" » then Click "Install".
- Broadcastify will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Poorly Conceived UI and UX

The app does what it says, and we all know this is the best general site for accessing shared scanner feeds. But it seems like no one even gave this app any forethought. When you have a feed playing there’s no way to click back over to it easily without manually tracking the same exact feed down again, no indicators whatsoever. It should act like any other audio player and have a play/pause button and link back to the feed.

Great scanner but glitching lately

First off, this app is awesome. It is so easy to use and provides hours of entertainment/information without having to keep it on screen. There are not a bunch of trashy adds which is much appreciated and there is a huge selection of cities/providences.
Really does make the old days of searching through the original handheld scanners seem so difficult.
However, it does not have all the codes like the website so I’m still having to jump over to the site on google in order to decipher the lingo.
Also, I’ve had an issue where it stops playing. I know it’s not the channel because it plays perfectly when I check it on the website.
Beside that, I highly recommend this app!

Needs a better UI

Would gladly pay to lose the ads. The UI isn't very attractive. Opening graphic doesn't fill up the iPhone 6+ screen. Make the app brighter and nicer. I hate that it stops when you move off of wifi. That should be an option that can be toggled on/off.

Honestly the best scanner

This is honestly the best police scanner. They have their own website also. The major benefit of this app is they offer alerts and descriptions of high priority events that you can check under alert feeds. And when swiping through different scanners if they have an important alert it will be visible with a summary of the events taking place.
