  • Fun, but

    By CraigPoff (Pcmac user)

Great graphics and realistic play; you can get into a tournament that goes on and on, which I find fun. Good tracking of your stats. However, at least in my play, there just comes times when the game won't let you take your shot. Very annoying and nothing seems to remedy it. Eventually it "let's go" and you can shoot again, but you have to continually re-line up your shot. Buggy. the app Pool has been around, however, since the '90s, on PC. An oldie but a goodie...just fix the glitch!
  • Ridiculous

    By kmulkey (Pcmac user)

I’ve owned all versions of the app pool since the mid 90s and this is by far the worst. Were you trying to make this version like Doom? I’ve been playing pool for 30 years and I promise you the crap that happens in this game doesn’t happen in the real game. First off, no matter how I try, all my breaks occur at 3 mph. Meanwhile my opponents are blasting the rack like the cue ball is bring shot out of a rifle. Then there are the ridiculous pockets. Everything I miss hangs in the pocket, everything “Curly” misses goes 3 rails and in another pocket. Again...this is not pool, it’s a fantasy game. Maybe hire some coders who've actually played the game?
  • Best Pool App

    By RubyMoon (Pcmac user)

the app Pool has a long history (since 1995) of being the best, most advanced, and most realistic pool game for computers. This app carries on with that tradition. The game play on my iPad Air is smooth as silk, with gorgeous graphics and excellent physics. Campaign play is fun and challenging. Just about everything is configurable. If you're hoping to capture the feeling of real pool play, and maybe even improve your real-life game...this is the app to get.
  • No sound, missing a ton of VP4 content

    By Jkh0208 (Pcmac user)

I get no sound an either of my iPads for this game. Also, this is missing a lot of this app is supposed to have. No saving match replays, none of the training videos, no turning off or on track lines mid-practice, no take shot at selected force option, no free mode/trick shot setup, etc. I could go on, but I think the point is clear. This is NOT the this app most of us have played on PC. The fact that this is a tablet version is no excuse, considering how old this game is and how weak PCs we’re back then compared to iPads today. This should be called “this app Lite”, NOT “this app”.
