1. Step 1 - Find a Libro Nook location.

2. Libro Library is a project where you can borrow books from Libro Nook locations.

3. Using the app, scan the QR code of the Libro Nook location.

4. Step 3 - Scan ISBN barcode of the book you have chosen to borrow.

5. Nooks are book shelves you can find at your local shops and cafe.

6. They can be found at cafés and local shops.

7. Step 2 - Check in.

Install Libro Library app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Libro Library on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Libro Library"
The search will reveal the Libro Library app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Libro Library is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Libro Library.
Now enjoy Libro Library on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Libro Library Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Libro Library,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Libro Library" » then Click "Install".
- Libro Library will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

This app is exactly what I've been looking for! The find more books feature works much better than all the other apps I've tried out! The new json export feature is amazing since that format is so flexible and can be converted easily into any format you like. The developers are super responsive and really respond quickly, (sorry I was so later responding back guys)! The app is lightweight, simple, does not bog you down with too many features you don't need or want and the barcode scanner works great too!

You can browse books now. I love it! I have tried many free apps that promise a good "library" only to find out you either have to pay for more that just a few books or it's not user friendly. This app is very user friendly. The database needs work but other than that I have no complaints.

Finally- a no brainer book cataloguing tool for me to scan and bookkeep all my books. And a powerful search engine- so far it has survived all the esoteric searches I entered. Plus: meeting people via borrowing and loaning. Great stuff!
