1. No longer limited to a computer, CorrLinks users can visit with their family/friends incarcerated at most Bureau of Prison women institutions (check with Bureau which facilities allow video visitation) from the convenience of their phone.

2. For a positive experience it is very important you connect to the video session from a location that has fast and reliable internet access, and that ambient lighting is bright enough for the camera to capture a good picture.

3. Per Bureau rules only the incarcerated individual may schedule the video visit, and you have the ability to accept their invitation.

4. Video session times are set by each institution, but are generally available every day of the week! Video sessions last 25 minutes, starting at the top and bottom of each hour.

5. CorrLinks users are not charged for video sessions.

iPhone XR: audio quality issues, causes echoes

Used to use the app on my iPhone 6s Plus and worked perfectly but this app is outdated and hasn’t been updated to confirgue to the iPhone XR and latest update of iOS. The only way to make the call work without extremely loud shrieking noise on both ends of the call is by lowering the the volume completely, speaking into the microphone.. and then raising volume VERY low to hear the voice of the inmate on the other end.. smh . No customer service, no technical support line, and no update, pretty sad how the Federal system is doing. :/ hope for important improvements in the future through. It causes stress on the families & THE Inmate especially since we don’t get to see our family and this is the only form of reliable communication.

This app does not even open past the test video. Whether I’m on WiFi or Cellular the video will not connect. This app was strung together with a lick and a prayer and a few stray staples. It was designed poorly as quickly as possible in order to squeeze more money out of prisoners and their loved ones

I have an iPhone 10, the video is horrible and you can’t even hear me. Such a waste of money.
