What is Internet Status? iOn Internet Status is a utility app for Mac that displays the real-time connection status of your internet network on the menu bar. It also provides other information such as public and local IP addresses, upload/download speed, and data usage for the current session. The app is compatible with various Mac devices and is ready for macOS Mojave.

Software Features and Description

1. This utility adds a neat color (Green/Yellow/Red) icon on the menu bar which lets you know the status of the connection and shows other information as follows.

Download and install the Internet Status: iON app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

It drove me crazy for no reason

I had forgotten I had installed this app, so when my Mac started dinging every few seconds that my the app was out, then working, then out, then working, and dinging with each change. I worked the problem. the app provider checked my connection and reported no outages at all. The WWW light on my router was constantly on. No problem. I changed the Ethernet connection to my 2013 Mac Pro running Mojave. No change. Constant dignging about the the app being in and out continued. You couldn't click on the alert. I saw no icon in the menu bar, but I took note of it's icon in the alert and found the app. No way to directly trash it because it was running. But no way to stop it running until I had the idea of finding it in my Activity Monitor as a process and quitting the process. Then I was able to delete the app. Aaahhhh....
Handy utility

Works well, and is helpful. My home the app connection (cable) drops at random intervals, not frequently but often enough to want notification when it goes down and comes back up, especially when it drops several times within an hour or two. Occasionally there’s a disconnect from my Mac to my router, but it’s usually from the modem to the ISP. In any case, this app does the job.

Great tool for me to have since I’m in a place where the the app connection is spotty. It lets me know if its my wi-fi network or the the app itself and saves me some time in wandering around my house to check all my connections… At least I can tell right away when the connection is dropped/restored by watching the icon.

I just changed to Netgear from my old but starting to suffer Apple Airport. I loved my Airport Utility App., But I had to call on it to demonstrate my the app situation. this app opens up automatically, when my this app changes, and I am now even more aware than before; Of course I can always open it up when I need to, as well.
