  • Just what we were looking for!

This really simplifies playing songs for our meetings. Excellent app but we can’t get the Background Music to play.
  • Great app but Need Help

    By khalkobby (Pcmac user)

I accidentally dropped some songs from my music library into the app. How do i find the app’s directory to delete them. Wouldnt it be better if it didnt copy songs that we dragged into it but rather we could select a directory where the songs are located. One for the meetings songs and another for the background music. Because sometimes we want to play vocal rendition as background music.
  • Location of the songs

hello thank you for your efforts in making it easier for the sound department at the kingdom halls. Just one question, before we can use it at the hall. We would like to know where the songs are located so we can have a control of the content, just in case something happens on while the songs are added to the app.
  • Excellent App!!

Thanks for the excellent app, now we have a solution for MacBooks used in the meetings. For some reasons, if I click and drag the MP3s into the “Music Player”, it won’t play the “Background Music”. Then I had to drag them into the “Background Music” part too, but that means I’m having the file duplicated and using extra space. If you’re having the same issues, try this: once you download the files from jw.org, select them all and drag them into the app, but drag them in the “Background Music" part. Once it’s done, it’ll work on both “Background Music” and “Music Player” options. For those asking where the music folder is, it’s here: go to Finder, then go to menu “go and hold the “option” key, then select library and then Containers/com.the app.the app-Sound-Desk-Assistant/Data/Documents/Music/ and the files should be there. Remember that you can download the music in any language. I mean, don’t know if in another language the music lasts a few seconds more or less. I’m using it for a Spanish congregation. Thanks for the app!!
