Not Really an Artifex Mundi Creation

Just because Artifex Mundi published this, it doesn't mean they had a hand in developing it. the app real developer responsible for this stinker is Two Deperados, known for indie games. I'm normally easy on indies, but just cannot show leniency for this one. the app voice overs are horrendous (my dog could probably do better narration) with flat, emotionless tone and delivery. the app interface is weird. the app music stinks. A couple of the app menu options make no sense. I could only get through twenty minutes before uninstalling. I may have missed out on a good game and perhaps sound picky and critical, but only those who've played other A.M games will know what I'm talking about. I'm just amazed that Artifex Mundi would put their name on this; I was hoping to see some semblance of them in this game, but no, it never happened.

Does this game have the app most involving plot or best voice acting or cleverest puzzles? No. But, unlike games that require great dexterity or the app ability to devine the app never explained rules, I found it involving and enjoyable. the app puzzles are interesting and doable. Not for hard core gamers but fun for people who like a more casual experience. I appreciated being able to try the app game before buying it (through an in-app purchase), and not needing to buy anything else after unlocking it.
Short, and OK, but not a great game

I liked some of the app puzzles and the app plot was good until about the app middle of the app story, the app art was OK. But this game was short and casually produced. the app detective (your avatar) is voiced terribly, which really made the app experience less entertaining. If you want something easy and distracting for an hour or so, I suppose you won’t complain about it. But I should have read the app other reviews, and won’t buy Two Desperados/Artifex Mundi again.
A little bit of polishing 🤔

I dont want to be rude… the app games are awesome; all of them. But it’s a little irritating when the app character voices sound like they’re literally reading from a script. It takes away from the app ambiance of it. I say redo the app casting, mainly the app detective’s voice. She was super fake. I want to feel some emotion. I think we can all relate.
