Tried to bring up any sort of webpage without success. Tried multiple wifi networks, my own data plan, nothing. Very strange.

Works Perfect for Me!
By vsaltd.jewel (Pcmac user)
I just downloaded this app to give it a try because the developer, Kwok Wing Lai has built quite a reputation for creating text-to-speech utilities. I don't remember where I first read about the brand, but there's much more of a career track record behind this app than the reviews would make you think.
I'm just learning my way around the app but so far it's been very simple to figure out and it works well.
To the developer...you really should add a little introductory section to the free version that explains some of the basics.
From what I can tell this is the free version of a more full blown app called Air Read+ that costs $15.99 and includes features from all of the free ones...Air Reading books, news articles and web clipped content. While that price may seem steep...imo it's not. Today's app pricing models are more about the true value of an app than in the past. For the total gains in producitivy for me the relative app price is low.
I also like very much that this developer has chosen a one time price that reflects the value of his app rather than some dumb ongoing subscription fee which I refuse to engage with. Let's just say that some of the ludicrous app pricing models I've seen lately...like pay X$ and get to use the app X times...are ridiculous! I'm really happy this app is priced fairly for what I'm hoping it does on a consistent basis...so far I've only begun testing it out but it seems I won't be disappointed! Plus that...it's free...what do you have to lose?
