  • Is it something I’m doing?

    By BillyOK (Pcmac user)

This used to work — now it just doesn’t. iCloud Sync is always “Syncing...” but never syncs. When I copy something with background activity enabled, that copy never shows up in the app even though I have every setting activated. (It used to work fine in this respect, so I can’t imagine this is intentional. Lately, and I’m not sure if this is the app or the increasingly broken-in-surprising-ways iOS 11’s fault, but when I copy or cut text with the intention of pasting elsewhere in the same app without ever leaving that app, I get no option to the app at all. That copied text is just gone. I have to just delete this app and see if that particular problem continues, but even if that one isn’t the app’s fault, I’m not sure what the point of bringing it back is if the whole point — to sync — isn’t working or continually needs babysitting.
  • A joke

It doesn’t work when the app is not active or its daily widget is not active? —There is slew of apps that are active right away, when the phone is restarted, and continue to be active even when the app card has been pulled up, theoretically killing the app. Get more creative. When something is “shared”, as if sent to another app, and the “copy” icon is pressed in the lower part of the helper, whatever is copied is not making it into this the app app, while it is available for share via iCloud. So the iCloud integration claim is false, it’s just based on the assumption what whatever is copied via context menus becomes available via iCloud Share. What about when something is copied on another device and is available in iCloud Share for passing on the device where the app app is running? Of course this is not captured. If I need to worry about this app be up and running to work, I just as well may send whatever is copied into any of the many notes apps, and be sure it’s captured for sure than HOPING and PRAYING that this app would capture it.
  • This is a VERY GOOD App to Have on ANY iDevice!

By Hardcore Trek Tek (Pcmac user)

Haven’t been using this app too long, but so far I am REALLY liking this app! I will update and add to my review, in a while, once I really start making use of this app more. So far, though, I like how this app works and like how easily it has integrated into iOS and all of my apps. Wonderful app and concept. I would like to see a few more options for the length of time to save clipboard clips/snippets. Like a 3 month and 6 month option. Those would be fine for those that don't want to keep text clips forever, but would like to keep them longer than just one month! Very Good app!
  • One of the Few Great Apps

    By Lee-Zammer (Pcmac user)

A clipboard that holds only one item is not a helpful tool. Yet this is the default. And it’s particularly troublesome when using the more limited pocket computers that are our mobile devices. the app is the answer. And with its availability on — and synchronization between — iOS and macOS, it’s really a must-have. Highly recommended.
