Buggy

Finally made it to the 4th city. Left towards 5, and my character froze. Everything else was working, but he wouldn't move no matter what I did. Not ill, nothing broken...just stopped. This wouldn't be such a big deal if there was some sort of save progress mechanism...but now I've lost a solid 80 minutes of work. I understand that the Devs don't want a complete save, but something where you get dropped back at the last town without items might be a good trade off...

When I get to the ending, the game crashes and I'm brought to my home screen. Please fix this. Anyway... The gameplay is simple enough: get to the next city, make smart decisions during semi-random encounters, collect water, and trade items. The story, which I am still uncovering, is interesting enough: it's an immigration tale with a dystopian twist. For better or worse, I'm certainly more interested in the setting and backstory than the characters. Apparently, people started to live in the sky, so they use machines to collect water. This breaks the rain cycle, causing widespread drought and forces our farming family to trek to...The Spire, which is this crystal thing. Not that that's bad. I just see the characters as more a way to explore the setting. I can't wait for there to be a wiki to this thing!
