Download and install Tales From Deep Space on your Laptop or Desktop computer

If you want to install and use the Tales From Deep Space app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use this app for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Tales From Deep Space in the search bar and press Search. Click on Tales From Deep Spaceapplication icon. A window of Tales From Deep Space on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use Tales From Deep Space for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

  • Fun, easy, and short

So this game is quite easy and short. The story leads you through all the 'puzzles' so you don't have to think too much. The story line is a bit odd and doesn't have much of a flow, and at times didn't make any sense. Plus, there are missions that send you all over the city seemly to extend the game play time, as the missions were just random interactions with Meeks. Kind of frustrating. Overall a fun 2D platform game for the under 12 age group, but could be deeper for $7. I would definitely rather play this game than see Jurassic World for the same price. Oh, and it is In-app purchase free! That along is worth the price and I think enhances the fun! Hate the IAP.
  • Fun Game with Forgivable Flaws

I really enjoy the puzzles in this adventure game. The combo of using two characters to navigate the many planet areas is unique and challenging. The story is a bit weak at times and seems geared for children. Some of the navigation buttons can be hard to click on the small screen of the iPhone. However, the overall controls are much better than the typical iOS game. The game is definitely worth the money.
  • Decent game + fatal flaw

Here's the deal. The game is fun with a decent linear story line and good graphics. It runs reasonably well on iPhone (6/6s) and the iPads (Air/Air 2/mini 2) I and our family have tried it on but as others have reported, it is impossible to finish. There is a glitch that makes the "Cavern Ascent" and "Abandoned Subway" locations a trap. Without a fix, the game can not be completed as you can not reach the end game. It appears the developers have moved on and won't be repairing it. If they ever do, it probably merits five stars. TL;DR: Buy only if not being able to complete a game doesn't bother you.
  • Hours of fun

    by furym42
Casual play took me several hours to complete. I was able to finish the final objectives but did not go back for all the collectibles I might have passed. There were a couple of tedious moments moving from the depths to the heights to the depths and back again but overall a great game with excellent graphics. Aiming some items can be tricky sometimes when your fat fingers are in the way.
  • Fantastic Game. One of the BEST!

Not sure why the first reviewer stated that the "graphics are bad". Perhaps, he's running it on old hardware? On the iPad Air it looks amazing. I feel like I'm playing a "Pixar Movie". The game strikes a very good difficulty balance. Challenging but not frustrating. There's also a very good amount of humor. Controls are top notch. If you looking for something a little bit different or are a fan of Platformers- this is a MUST BUY!
  • Great Game!

This is an excellent side scroller, adventure game. The graphics are nice, and the gameplay is smooth. Witty dialogue, as well. Developers should be proud of this title. My only suggestion, if they happen to be reading, would be to add different control schematics. Not the biggest fan of the control type this game utilizes, and would love to see the addition of a virtual d-pad. Other than that, highly recommended!
  • A great game experience!

When I first saw this game I thought it was a 'made for kids' thing. I purchased it while I've been on vacation this week and it's been a great time filler for those not busy times. Well made in my opinion and challenging without being impossible. People apparently don't realize what it takes to make a game that is both fun to play and visually appealing. Good job devs!
  • Lovely and fun but gets a little tiresome

    by jam9999
The game has nice graphics and is generally fun to play but it gets a little tiresome after a while and I don't always feel sufficiently engaged. The game basically has you running around shooting things. Some of the puzzles are clever. Some are just annoying. Also, it's a bit of a resource hog, gets my iPad nice and hot while burning through the battery, and I find that the sound sometimes skips, like the program can't keep up.
  • Perfect

This game is so well made, one of the best I've played. The graphics are amazing and it is a blast to play. I'm probably about a third of the way through and enjoying every minute. Difficulty seems just right, hard, but not want to delete hard. Seems everything can be figured out with a little trial and error.
  • Perfect platform puzzler

One of the best games I've played on iOS. Graphics are beautiful, no lag on iPad mini 2. Lots going on in the background of city scenes, with looking at. Difficulty level is just right. Takes time to solve some puzzles, but not so hard that you want to quit. Almost done with it and I'll be sad to be finished.
