Decent hardware. Decent app.
By mrobstrong (Pcmac user)
I actually really have enjoyed my Nova system and it’s coverage in my home. Although I can’t lie, the lack of app updates and optimizations really make for a lackluster experience. the app updates their app a few times a year, which if you’re like me and have bugs in the app that cannot be remedied, it can be extremely frustrating.

A Clean and Simple App That Works
By Superjon78 (Pcmac user)
I have used this app to set up the app Nova mesh Wi-Fi systems in different homes. The setup wizard works every time and is foolproof. Using the app to work through the settings in the router and Wi-Fi is easy, too.
My only request is for an “Advanced” tab in SETTINGS where I could manually adjust things like DHCP Server IP address and subnet mask to whatever I want instead of having to select from three pre-determined options.

Great App
By BloodF (Pcmac user)
Overall Management and GUI is A1. But I have faced 2 problem so far. One of them is when I rename a connected device and then I want to revert it to it’s default name it doesn’t simply work. I have to put a name or the default name manually.
Another is in the connected device section the icons beside device name are not showing properly. It’s showing the icon of some brands and except them all other device got a question (?) mark beside them.

It does the job
By Olie04 (Pcmac user)
For a low budget mesh network, the app does a pretty good job. One of the main issues I have is updating firmware. I added two more novas to my setup and I tried updating firmware on the existing network but it wasn’t downloading. I was able to update the firmware by setting them each up independently, THEN update the firmware works. Kind of a pain, but it’s the only workaround. Other than that, I love the Nova MW3’s
