I've read quite a few negative reviews and I really think people should go to the settings on the app and adjust things like the speed because it can be lowered to almost nothing. My only irritation is the monotone voice. Also that I can't sync it between my iPhone and iPad. Can't just start on the iPhone & bookmark and then pick it up on the iPad because the bookmark won't show.

Skips and garbled places

I was enjoying this for the most part and was enduring pronunciations I was not accustomed to, but there are chapters it skips over and others that are just garbled completely. I paid the 1.99 before I got in far enough to find these issues. I do not recommend since the entire Bible is not actually available to listen to on this app.

No where did I know this app was a pay for play... reveal your price right away and if your going to charge at least give a sample of the the app voice that is reading the Bible .... oh yes reveal yr charge for this app before we get it please! Cause it looks like a shady deal!
